Robert D. Woods, 96, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019, in Dallas, Texas of heart failure. He was born on Monday, June 4, 1923, to his loving and thoughtful parents, John and Annabelle Woods in Burden, Kansas. He married Frances Davenport on September 30, 1942 in Dexter, Kansas. He was an Engineer for the Boeing Company for 37 years. He served in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945 as a Sergeant. He is survived by his son Brett Woods. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Woods.Graveside services for Robert D. Woods will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 21, 2019 at Burden Cemetery in Burden, Kansas.Funeral arrangements for Robert have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
