I went to Glenview Elementray School in Richland Hills with Monika as a little girl. I remember spending the night with her some times and going to church the next day where her father was the Minister of the Methodist Church in Richland Hills. it was always nice and her father was always a wonderful person to us. Because of him, I always respected and liked Methodists. As a Unitarian, the Methodists in our neighborhood were the only ones who never said negative things about me and my religion. i just noticed his middle name was Emerson, thus maybe he was more tolerant than some due to his connection to this important religious name. We are so very grateful for the life of this wonderful man! He gave love, support and encouragement to New Community UMC as it was birthing. Then gave love and wisdom as it grew, preaching on Palm Sunday for many years as our very special guest pastor. We give thanks to God for the life of Robert Young!
