Roberta Edmiston Madden's Obituary
MADDEN, ROBERTA EDMISTON age 85, of Plano, TX passed away on August 19, 2012 of natural causes. She was born August 28, 1926 in Olney, Illinois to Glen Charles Edmiston and Marjoria Edmiston. She and her husband and family moved to Richardson, Texas in 1958. She and her family were members of the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, Texas. Roberta and Bruce owned and operated the Spring Creek Day Care Center in Richardson for many years. Roberta was married to Bruce Elwood Madden for 66 years and had three sons, Daniel Bruce Madden, James Hanley Madden, and David Glen Madden. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Daniel Madden, and her grandson, Marcus Madden. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and wife, Natalie Madden and David and wife, Linda Madden; 5 grandchildren: Lauren Madden, Leslie Madden Kronenberger, Brian Madden, Layne Madden and Meredith Madden and brother, Don Edmiston, of West Columbia, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas.
