Roberta Ann Prince's Obituary
Roberta “Bobbie” Ann Prince, Age 77, went home to “Wyoming” on February 18, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.
Bobbie was born on August 27, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Ann Romanetz. She was the middle child of three. After graduating High School, Bobbie joined the United States Army as a Medical Corpsman with Company C, 4th Platoon. During her service, she met her “Prince”, Oscar Houston Prince. They married soon after on March 30, 1968 and relocated to Dallas, Texas.
Once settled in Dallas, Bobbie worked in Accounting for Southland Corporation until her retirement. During her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Roberta was very talented in creating intricate hand stitched quilts with complex designs, an array of stitching, listening to music, playing cards and reading. Many of her projects serve as beautiful focal points in family members' homes.
Bobbie is survived by her 5 children, Oscar Prince Jr, Jimmy Gary Prince, Joe Prince, Leroy Prince, and Michelle Prince. She has an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Oscar Houston Prince, brother, Paul Romanetz, sister, Sue Van Vlack, and her children, Armand Prince, James Prince, and Linda Prince Arredondo.
