Robin Tyler Reveley's Obituary
Robin Tyler Reveley, beloved brother and friend, passed away in Dallas on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Robin was born in Dallas to James and Louise Reveley. He attended W.T. White High School and the El Centro Culinary University where his love of food and cooking began. Robin worked his way up through the ranks of the food industry and never lost his enthusiasm for excellence in that field. At the time of his death Robin worked for Freshpoint in produce sales and counted many of Dallas’s top restaurants and chefs as his clients. This was not only a job to Robin ~ it was a passion. Robin enjoyed athletics and sports all his life. When not working, he could be found on the golf course, riding his bike around White Rock Lake or in his yoga classes all of which he loved and felt were an integral part of his life. Although facing many challenges in his life, Robin always found the will and a way to overcome them. One of his favorite quotes was, “Do or do not, there is no try”. His kind, gentle spirit, his “can do” attitude about everything that came his way, his great sense of humor and love of his family and friends will always be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. Robin is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Karen Moore, and brother, Jim Reveley, and his beloved canine companion, Boudreaux. The many friends that Robin leaves behind were his “family” as well and their love meant everything to him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Kindness, a charity that Robin loved and supported.
