Rochester Jones' Obituary
Rochester Jones was born on September 12, 1930 in Doyline, Louisiana to the late Phillip and Aggie Lee Jones. He departed this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
He received his formal education in the Bossier Parish school system. After which he served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1955. He joined in membership with the Rapturea Better Way Christian Ministry Church.
Rochester was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Aggie Lee Jones; brothers, Philip Jones, Jr., Amos Jones, K. C. Jones, Ezekiel Jones, Buster Jones, and Joel Jones; sister, JoeAnn Jones; daughters, Roberta Jones and Peggy Jones; grand-son, Kevin Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories four children, John L. Jones, Phillip Jones, Andrew Jones and Afton Thomas; brothers, Blanchard Jones and B.W. Jones; grand-daughters, Monique Jones, Stacy Jones, Brooklynn Thomas, Makayla Jones and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
