Anyone who knew him, either as a co-worker or as a friend, were blessed to have their life enriched by Rod Taylor. He was bright. He was caring. He was energetic. And, he had a wonderful sense of humor. Rod left us much too soon and he will be missed. The last time I saw him Carolyn and I were at my brother Bob and sister-in-law Jackie's home at a reunion. It was a special evening full of close friends sharing fond memories of past times that we were together. It was a happy time for all of us and that is how I will remember Rod. Today my thoughts, prayers and deep sympathy are being sent to Rod's family and his friends. George Cass, Jacksonville, Florida

My thoughts and prayers are with Rod's family and friends during this difficult period. Hearing about his passing has saddened me. Having Rod as a next door neighbor was a blessing and I'll always remember him as a great communicator, down to earth, fun-loving and giving person. Thomas Towkach, Farmers Branch, Texas.
We are so lucky to have known Rod. All of our memories are happy ones. We traveled to Europe together, went to Las Vegas and ate at Rod's favorite Italian restaurant, had RV camping trips, road trips to Orlando in a shaky limo and many wonderful dinners together with the never ending cheeseball, pork roast and trailer park pie. You are missed our friend.
Rodney was a very caring man. He used to be my boss years ago in Jacksonville. One Christmas he wanted to make sure my son had a great Christmas (I was a single mom) so he bought him the biggest bag of Legos I've ever seen. RIP Rod.
I went to school with Randy.. this is Mara, Thom's Daughter. I hope you are well
