In this time of social distancing, we appreciate and find comfort in the thoughtful comments, condolences and prayers that others have posted here and on social media. Roger was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who loved practical jokes, working on race cars, going to the gun range, and exploring the great outdoors. He lived a quiet life; and now he has quietly slipped away, leaving a void in our lives. We thank God for the 47 years Roger was with us, but 47 more would still not be enough. Roger left us much too soon, but we will cherish his memory always.

Roger is the son of my friend and neighbor Rogerio. I first met Roger almost 20 years ago when I moved in next door to his father. They had an old chevy truck in the drive that was a project for Roger but I offered to buy it and I did and rebuilt it. That was the first of many interactions with Roger. I found him to be quiet, intelligent, kind and introspective. I know how much he cared for his family and especially his nieces and nephew. I was shocked to hear of his passing since he was in better shape than all of us. I was also greatly saddened and my heart goes out for his family and other friends. The world is that much diminished by his loss and I know he's gone to a better place. I hope he looks down from heaven and keeps a weather-eye on my projects and all of whom he cared about.
Rest in peace Roger. My deepest condolences to your family. You were called on by the Lord way to early. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I only knew you for a short time but in that time I saw you as a kind, considerate and decent person. Traits that the world needs more of and I will always remember you that way.

Our deepest condolances to Roger, Betsy, Carey and all his Roger O's nieces and nephews--and all those who knew him. We are missing you and sending our love and prayers.
