Roger and I lived in next door apartments in mid 1970s Austin. We ran many miles together and hung out quite a bit.
We kept in touch through the 1980s. I recently thought of Roger and looked him up online and was saddened to hear he had passed. Here's a few photos I took of him. A great guy!!

So sorry to hear of Rogers passing He and I were close in high school both with 50s cars, and band and hanging out on weekends. We got to have lunch recently at Babes and catch up. Hook em Horns
Have so many wonderful memories growing up with Roger as a neighbor and friend. I’ll always remember riding around in his van with Buddy. He was a special person, and I’ll miss knowing he would be there if I needed him.

Roger has been our AC man/friend for over 30 years. We were delighted that he was able to retire but at the same time, very sad. He would do whatever he could to save you money on the repairs. We never had to wait long once the call was made for repair. He was so very trustworthy and always made time to sit down and talk about family and life…and of course, politics. He was truly a genuinely honest, real, compassionate, and sincere friend who loved life and his family. We had an awesome conversation with him in December which left us even more appreciative of his friendship. He was truly one in a million and we will truly miss him.
