My memory of Roger was his fun attitude always up for a game of basketball at Lockwood Park. I would be up there with my friends, all of us 7 years younger, and here would come Kim Scott and Roger racing across the field between the tennis courts and the basketball court. Running wind sprints, and keeping in shape with Kim who played football at A&M out of BA. What a pair! They would get the "big guys" over and play basket ball while we watched. Fast forward Roger is installing HVAC at both of my houses. He was good at what he did, and was a good tradesman, following up with annual visits to keep warranty, and he was never here less than a couple of hours, mainly talking and shooting the bull. He was my older brother Shannon's age, but we always had stuff to talk about right up to their retirement. What a sad loss for this beautiful world, but the angel's got their way, as Roger was needed elsewhere. What a good man. I just learned of his passing 2 1/2 years later.
