I had the privilege of meeting Laura in the early 80’s. She has been my dearest friend and has became part of our family . It seems that Roger and his family have been included in our prayers, beginning not long after meeting Laura. He has had many obstacles to overcome in his life time – which he seemed to face with an encouraging, positive attitude . He was blessed with family (wife, children, brothers, sisters) that were his support system regardless of the battles he faced. He was an inspiration because of his faith, fortitude and love – qualities he lived by. Know that I have never met Roger but he has touched my life because of who he was as a person. There will be a void in the lives of the people who knew him and love him. Rest assured he is in a much better place, still surrounded by family. Prayers go out to his family he leaves behind for peace, understanding and comfort. God bless.
