Roje' Shakur Carter's Obituary
Roje’ Shakur Carter was born to Roosevelt Brown Carter, Sr. and Erin Lowe Carter on March 1, 1999 in New Orleans, LA. He was the second born son to Brown and Erin, and brother to Roosevelt, Jr. “BJ”, Blake and Erielle. Roje’ entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the age of 21.
Roje’ and his family have resided in Dallas, TX for the past 14 years. The Carter Family relocated to Dallas in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina. Roje’ came to Dallas as a young child and grew into a young man. He was a dedicated father to his daughter, Royalty, and loving companion to Carmen.
Roje’ graduated from Ranchview High School in Irving, TX. During his years at Ranchview he played on the football team. Roje’ was athletically talented, playing several positions in football. Roje’ was equally as talented in basketball. His other passion was creating music, and Roje’ enjoyed spending time perfecting his craft. Roje’ was currently employed at KeHe Distributors, LLC in Texas.
Roje’s life has left an irrevocable mark on the hearts of many. In his life of 21 years, Roje’ brought joy and love to all those around him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather George Lowe. Roje’ leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving parents Brown and Erin. His adoring daughter Royalty and companion Carmen. His siblings, Roosevelt, Jr. “BJ”, Blake, and Erielle. His grandparents, Elaine Lowe and Barbara Carter, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
