Roland Eugene Rentz was born on September 1, 1932 and passed away on September 30, 2016 in Garland, Texas. Preceded in death by father, Harmon E. Rentz; mother, Dollie Rentz; and sister, Linda Rentz Johnson. Survived by wife, Dorothy Rentz; Kathryn Muntzel, husband, Mark Muntzel, and son, Jacob Muntzel. David Eugene Rentz, wife, Linda Rentz, sons, Shawn Monic, Matthew Rentz. Connie Voke, husband, Martin Voke, Alexis Voke, and Benton Voke. Kristi Puls, husband, Cartsen Puls, Cadence Puls, Melody Puls and brother- in-law Benton Nitcher. Graduated from Reagen High School in Houston, Texas. Attended Rice University and was a member of the Rice Baseball Team. Roland served in the United States Air Force. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Physics from University of Kansas. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church in Garland with visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
