Roland Thomas (Tommy) Knutson's Obituary
Roland Thomas (Tom) Knutson born April 17, 1951 in Dallas, TX and passed away June 30, 2016 in Plano, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Knutson Sr. and Doris May Puryear Knutson and his beloved brother, Donald E. Knutson Jr. Survived by best friends, Peggy and Kimber Moore. Tom was the owner of Quality Masters Inspection Services, a real estate inspection service. He was a certified scuba diver, licensed plumber, journeyman electrician and made his solo airplane flight in 1972. Tom enjoyed woodworking, boating and hosting cookouts and entertaining friends. He had a heart of gold and could keep you laughing. Tom was married to Peggy Gonder in 1987 to 1994, no children were born unto them. Tom remained close to Peggy and Kimber throughout the remainder of his life and they were with him throughout his health challenges and by his side upon death. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00AM at Restland Memorial Park. For directions to the graveside service please stop at the round information booth located in front of the floral shop. Following the graveside service, a luncheon will be held at his home at 2309 Trailridge Dr. Plano, TX 75074. You can contact Peggy and Kimber Moore at 214-693-1431. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
