Ronald Victor "Vic" Green's Obituary
Ronald Victor “Vic” Green, 87, of Cedar Park, Texas passed away on December 27, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
Vic was born on November 12, 1936, in Indianapolis, IN to Emmett Walker Green and Viola Pearl Austermiller Green. He was the youngest of three children, being the only son with sisters: Josephine (Jo) and Jacqueline (Jackie).
Vic graduated from Broad Ripple High School in Indiana in 1955. He enjoyed music (drums) and acting and later attended Butler University for 2 years. After college, Vic proudly served in the United States Air Force, based in San Antonio, TX, Puerto Rico and Blytheville, AR.
While stationed in Blytheville, Vic met and married his first wife, Ann on May 29, 1960. They were married for 27 years until her death in 1987. Vic met and married Marsha Magee on August 14, 1988. They were married for 35 years until his death.
Vic had many interests. He loved music, playing drums, organ and bass guitar. He also enjoyed radio-controlled cars, boats and drones. He was an avid reader and was always looking for someone to play a game of cards, dominoes or to just sit and talk. He never met a stranger. Vic was a life member of Duck Creek Masonic Lodge #1419 in Garland, TX, where he was a Past Master. He was very proud to be a 65-year mason. He was also very active as a Chapter Dad of Garland DeMolay over the span of 20+ years, ranging from the 60’s to 80’s.
Vic is survived by his loving wife, Marsha; sons: Mark Green and wife Sheri of Bryan, TX, Tim Green of College Station, TX, daughter: Tammy Hough of Royce City, TX, Step son: Scott Magee and wife Inna Aguilar of Georgetown, TX, 10 grandchildren: Brittney Green, Haley Green, Maci Hough, Meredith Magee, Allie Magee, Kendall Magee, Holden Magee, Aaron Aguilar, Stephen Aguilar and Jonathan Aguilar and 4 great grandchildren: Aaron, Mia, Lili and Miles.
Vic’s life will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Trinity Fellowship Church at 932 S Greenville Ave in Richardson, TX. The family will receive family and friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
