Ronald McCauley's Obituary
Ronald Mead McCauley born to William and Nina McCauley in Shreveport, LA, August 14, 1939 passed away in Mesquite, TX, June 10, 2017. Ronald is survived by his wife Gladys June McCauley, son Steven McCauley and his wife Beth McCauley, daughter Elizabeth Satterfield and her husband Bryan Satterfield, his step-daughter Amy Chaple and her husband Charles Chaple, granddaughters Lauren Satterfield and Taylor Chaple, grandsons William McCauley, Grant Satterfield, and Brendan Chaple, sister Erma Lou Barnard and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carol McCauley. Ron graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1963 and also served in the U.S. Army until 1963. Hebegan work at Western Electric in 1965 and continued to work there (after a name change to AT&T) until 1996. After retirement, Ron enjoyed bowling and golfing and spending time with his grandkids. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 PM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
