Rondel Bailey's Obituary
Bailey, Rondel, Mahlon, age , of North Richland Hills, TX passed away peacefully on 7/14/1912 at Ashwood Assisted Living. He was born on 2/16/1918 in Haskell, TX to his parents, Vaugh and Elwa Norton Bailey. Ron (or Bailey) graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He married Marjorie Kirkpatrick in Dallas, Texas on March 23, 1942. They had 3 children. He proudly served in the Fifth Air Force 69th Service Squadron during World War II in the US and Pacific. He was a longtime resident of Dallas and was employed by Braniff International Airways as a mechanic for over 30 years. Rondel was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Dallas. He enjoyed fishing, playing the saxophone, watching various sports, fossil hunting, tennis, and golf. Rondel will be remembered by his children Thomas Dean and wife Glenna of Little Elm, Donna Hren of Haslet, and Denise Rose and husband James of Singapore. . He is also survived by his sister Noka Smith of Sherman, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by His wife of 64 years, Marjorie Bailey. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Restland Funeral Home on Monday July 16th at 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services for Rondel will be held at The Wildwood Chapel on Tuesday, July 17th at 12:30pm. Internment will follow at Veterans II.
