Ronnie Avery Davis' Obituary
Ronnie Avery Davis age 60 went home December 18,2016 surrounded by his loving family at his side in Garland, Texas. He was the loving and devoted husband of 36 years to the love of his life, best friend, and soul mate Petricia Renee Martin. He was born June 18,1956 to Raymond C. Davis and Lillian (Walls) Davis in Vinita, Oklahoma. He Graduated from Vinita High School in 1975, enlisted in the United States Army until 1978 when he was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant, worked for Evans Bakery until 1982, graduated from Oklahoma State Tech in May 1984 with an Associate Degree in Industrial Electricity. He was employed by Texas Instruments, Richardson, Texas as a High Voltage Electrician for 25 years. He was a dedicated OU fan, enjoyed working in the yard and repairing and building things around his home. He will be remembered as a loving and wonderful husband, a proud father to his children, and granddad to his grandson; a good brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He leaves to celebrate his life his wife Petricia Davis of the home, three daughters, Tiara Carson and husband Korie of Piano, Texas, Averi Davis of the Home, La’Mesiya Davis of the home; One grandson Braxton Miller of Piano, Texas; four brothers, Roy Davis, Norman Davis and wife Rhonda, Kenneth Davis and wife Debbie, Timothy Davis and wife Michelle all of Vinita Oklahoma, two sister-in-law’s Claudette Davis of Vinita, Oklahoma, Vera Davis of Houston, Texas; along with a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond C. Davis Sr., his mother Lillian (Walls) Davis, Grandmother Clara Fields, two brothers, Stevie Davis and Raymond Davis Jr. and one niece Stevi Nicole Baldridge. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 12:30 PM at the Wildwood Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
