Ronnie Drew Gordon's Obituary
Born September 25, 1941 in Waxahachie, Texas. Beloved husband and father, devoted grandfather, gifted scientist, avid UT alum passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family June 13, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by wife, Virginia “Gingie” Allerton Gordon; and father, John D. Gordon. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bourgeois-Gordon; sons, Chris, Eric, Brian; daughters in law, Maury and Julie; beloved grandchildren, Percy, Byron, Hannah, Madeline and Caroline; mother, Louise Gee Gordon; brother and sister in law, Jon and Susan; as well as many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will take place at 10:00 am, Friday, June 17, 2016 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Association, Habitat for Humanity, or National Kidney Foundation.
