Ronny O’Neal was born February 15, 1956, in Longview, Texas, to the late
Johnny B O’Neal and Ollie Maroney.
He grew up in Denver, Colorado and went on to earn his bachelor's degree
before moving back to Texas. While in Dallas, Texas he joined and became

Ronny dedicated over 40 years to a career in banking, where he was known for integrity and leadership. He earned the respect of colleagues and made a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Outside of work, Ronny found immense joy in sports, his annual jazz festival trip, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved the Dallas Cowboys, and cherished time spent with his wife and daughter. He became an honorary Southern University Jaguar with the Dallas Alumni Chapter. As a Southernite, he faithfully worked the annual Bayou Bash crawfish boil making meat pies.
Ronny was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny B and Ollie; his sister, Gloria; and wife, Henry Etta. He is survived by his daughter, Jazmine; sister Valeria; brothers, Dewey and Nathan, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
