Rosa Jewell Duke's Obituary
DUKE, ROSA JEWELL Was born in Kaufman, Texas on March 6, 1915, to Lillian Harris and Matthew Ethridge Dorsey. On February 15, 1934, she married J.P. Duke, who preceded her in death in 1975. She is also preceded by five brothers and one sister. In November 1978 she married F.L. Hullum of Tool, Texas, who died in 1983. Rosa is survived by her sister, Reba Pitts and husband Jim of Garland; sister, Mary Barrett of Lubbock; brother, Charles Dorsey of Wills Point; plus numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the children and grandchildren of F.L. Hullum. Rosa was a long-time charter member of the Hawn Freeway Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the Hawn Freeway Church of Christ at 10:30am prior to services at 11:00am, with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Terrell, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hawn Freeway Church of Christ, 7605 C.F. Hawn Freeway, Dallas, TX 75217.
