Rosalee O'Malley's Obituary
Rosalee O’Malley, 96, long time resident of Dallas, passed away after a short illness on June 16, 2018. She is survived by her daughter Jackie Curry and her husband Steve. Grandchildren Ryan and Julie Higginbotham and David Curry. Great grandchildren Brayden and Olivia Higginbotham. Visitation 11:00-12:00am Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Services will be conducted at DFW National Cemetery at 1:00pm where she will be reunited with her husband Jack.Rose was born in Denison, Texas on December 22, 1921 to George and Ida Bush. She graduated from Denison High School and moved to Dallas where she lived the rest of her life. She married her husband Jack O’Malley after her returned from service in World War Two. They had one daughter Jackie. They spent many years living in Oak Cliff and moved to the Lakewood area later in life. She and Jack were members of Wilshire Baptist Church. Rose was the sixth of seven siblings. She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated her life to her husband and daughter. Her hobbies included arts and crafts and decorating her home.
