Rosalie Catherine Johnson's Obituary
Johnson, Rosalie Catherine age 92, daughter of Martin C. Bode and wife Christine. Born November 20, 1921 in Norman, Oklahoma passed away February 4, 2014 in Corinth, Texas from complications of a second stroke. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) A. Johnson and son, Michael Glenn Johnson. Rosalie is survived by her sons, Ron Johnson and wife, Sandra, Bobby Johnson and Randy Johnson; former daughter-in-law, Diane Nowak and daughter in-law, Barbara Johnson, Chris Walker and husband, Tim. Evelyn Parker and husband, Harold, Bill Johnson and wife, Tuesday, Alissa Anne Luna, Patrick Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Brent Johnson and wife, Michelle, Michelle Wheeler and husband, Jarrod and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rosalie volunteered for the US Air Force in WW II, she helped build Aircraft at Tinker AFB in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She raised four sons, and retired after 20 years as a radio specialist FOM Collins Radio at Richardson, Texas. Her hobbies were planning family gatherings, working in her garden and camping activities. Mom was our rock, the glue that held the family together, we will miss her so much. “If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.” Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
