Rosamond (Roz) Virginia Saidi's Obituary
Rosamond (Roz) Virginia Saidi, 72, was accepted into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. She is released from her earthly aliments.A Memorial Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, TX at 11 AM on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, with a reception on church property following the service. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories Columbarium at Restland Cemetery at 1:30 PM.Roz was born in New York City, NY to Roy B. and Judy O’Donnell Colonel. She was raised in Dallas, TX, graduating from Christ the King Elementary School and Ursuline Academy High School. In her later years, she was a Eucharistic Minister for Christ the King and a volunteer at the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. Roz is preceded in death by her parents.Roz is survived by her son, David Saidi, of San Antonio, TX; her sister, Michele Lopez and husband, Antonio, of Fort Worth, TX, a niece, JJ Alley, her husband, Christopher and their children, of Boise, ID; and a niece, Tammy King, her husband, William and their children, of Keller, TX. She is also survived by a host of cousins and their spouses living throughout the United States and Ireland. Roz will be missed by all of her dear friends.In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her name to a charity of your choice.
