Rose Felicia Chiles' Obituary
Rose was born on October 30, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. She lived in Brooklyn until she married at the age of 21 and moved with her husband to Long Island, NY. Rose and her husband had 4 beautiful children while living in NY. In 1966, a job transfer took them all to Dallas, TX. They were very happy and loved life in Dallas. Within a year one more child was born. Rose didn't know what she was going to do with a new baby at 40 years old, but the baby was so good and made it easy for her. Rose and her husband divorced in 1973.
Rose took a job at Sanger Harris Department Store in the Cashier’s Office, and quickly worked her way to being the supervisor. Several years passed and Rose and her children lived life to the fullest.
One day, while out dancing with her friends, she met the love of her life. After one dance with Frank Chiles, neither of them ever danced with anyone else ever again. They began dating and after several years they married.
After Rose retired, she and Frank traveled between Colorado and Florida with springtime and fall stopovers in Texas to visit their children and grandchildren. Rose and Frank made friends everywhere they went; they both loved life and made the best of everyday.
Rose is survived by her three children Rose Anna Peake (Kip Giese), Tom Rapp (Misty Rapp) and Jean Jones (Daryl Jones). six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and her sister Millie. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank, sons Bobby and Robert, Sister Mary and brothers Frank and Antony.
