Rose Marie Reyes' Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our sweet sister, Rose Marie Reyes.
Preceded in death: Parents, Balbino Reyes and Idalia (Dollie) Reyes
Born in Dallas, Texas.
She graduated from Bryan Adams High School. After high school she worked for the Office of Personnel Management. Marie loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She was the family expert on sports and loved those conversations. Marie loved spending time listing to music. She was a skilled drummer and one of our fondest memories is her playing the drums with her cousins’ band in Toledo Ohio.
Family and Friends and the Church played an important role in her life. Daily phone calls to check on all of us made her happy. Sister always had her make-up on and her purse in hand ready to go shopping. Dad would say don’t look Marie as they passed by a Dollar store. Shopping for that one gift on our Christmas list and happy it was on sale. Christopher and Anthony’s memories of Marie attending their sports events while growing up and cheering them on. Marie showed us that family was important.
She touched many lives by her beautiful smile and loving heart. Her life involved the love of her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors.
