Rose Juanita Root Roberts' Obituary
Born February 4, 1929 in Marshall, Texas passed away July 6, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Graduated from Marshall High School attended East Texas Baptist College. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Ray Roberts; her parents, Arthur and Myrtle Root; twin sister, Ruth Carter Loveless; brothers and sister-in-laws, Vernon Dale “Bud” Root, Albert Leroy Root and Margie, Charles Arthur “Bubba” Root and Ruby. Survived by daughter, Yvonne Flowers and son-in-law, Greg Flowers; daughter, Marie Roberts and life partner, Annette Baumgartner; grandson Denver Ray Roberts Baumgartner; sister-in-law, Evelyn Sadler and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. When she wasn’t working or doting on family members, she was either fishing or asking someone to take her fishing. Family will receive friends on July 8, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on July 9, 2016 at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Widow Ministry at The Heights Baptist Richardson. The family wishes to thank the CCU team of The Medical Center of Plano for their loving care. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
