Roseanne Hodkin's Obituary
HODKIN, ROSEANNE ROGERS age 91, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on February 3, 2012 at home. She was born on June 6, 1920 in Dallas, Texas to her parents, Gladys and James Rodgers. She attended the University of Texas where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She was a lifelong resident of Dallas. Roseanne was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge, dancing, and camping. She was a Girl Scout leader for eight years. Roseanne will be remembered by her three children, Roger Hodkin of Dallas, Katherine and Michael Hodkin of Salt Lake City, and Laura and Gregory Marks of Carrollton. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Maddox; four grandchildren, William Hodkin, Kathleen and John Ball, and Christopher Marks; and two great grandchildren, Zachary and Victoria Hodkin.. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Forest Hodkin, and son-in-law, Gary Ball. Relatives and friends are invited to a service of remembrance for Roseanne at one o’clock on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Road (NW corner of Spring Valley and Hillcrest Roads) Dallas, Texas. Visitation with the family will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
