Roselyn Jowi-Njenga's Obituary
Roselyn Rachel Jowi-Njenga, 57, passed away on September 18, 2021 in Plano, Texas.
Roselyn was born in Nairobi, Kenya to Dr. Joseph Gordon Odero- Jowi and Mrs. Salome Odoro Odero-Jowi on March 17, 1964. Roselyn’s formative education in Kenya included Hospital Hill Primary and Loreto Convent Msongari, other schools in Scarsdale and Mamaroneck New York, and Ottawa Ontario. She completed High School at The International School of Kenya, before proceeding to Indiana State University. She worked as a Senior Accountant for PDI Marketing Cloud Solutions for several years.
Roselyn is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Joseph Gordon Odero- Jowi.
Roselyn is survived by her mother, Mrs. Salome Odoro Odero-Jowi; two sons, Sean and Riane Njenga; sisters, Esther Jowi-Okpoh, Sarah Jowi; brothers, Jowi Jowi and Gregory Odero-Jowi; brother-in-law, Anthony Okpoh; nephews, Brent Okpoh, Bryce Okpoh; and niece, Angelica Odero-Jowi; along with several extended family members in the United States, Kenya, and across the world.
A cherished mother, sister, daughter and friend, she was adored and will be missed by all.
The Jowi and Njenga families wish to extend their sincere thanks to everyone for their support and other expressions of love during this difficult time.
The Funeral and Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 PM CT on Saturday, October 2, 2021, also at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your charity of choice in Roselyn Jowi- Njenga's name.
