Rosemary Shoemaker Dearing, age 91 of Dallas, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Visitation for Rosemary Dearing will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Restland Memorial Park at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
Rosemary Shoemaker was born May 28, 1929 in Quitman, Texas. She was the daughter of R.T. Shoemaker and Sybill Howard Shoemaker, Dallas, Texas. She married Lee Clifton Dearing on July 1948. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2013 after 65 years of marriage. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She worked a number of years at Shoemakers Barbecue, Dallas, Texas, her father's business. She loved outside gardening, decorating, but her passion was the love of all children.
Rosemary is loved and will be missed by her 3 children, Pam Lacey, Kellie and her husband Rick Burkhardt and Kendall Dearing of Dallas, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, and her brother Tommy Shoemaker, Milam, Texas. She is also preceded in death by her son, Rodney Dearing, Dallas, and her brother James Shoemaker, Dallas.
