Rosemary Dowling's Obituary
Rosemary Dowling, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 85. Born on August 7, 1940, in Dallas, Texas, Rosemary was the cherished daughter of Clarence Donaldson and Pauline Jones.
Rosemary lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for those around her. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and her warm spirit touched countless lives. Whether through her laughter, her thoughtful words, or her quiet acts of generosity, Rosemary brought light and comfort wherever she went.
She treasured her roots in Texas and carried a deep appreciation for family traditions, community gatherings, and the simple joys of life. Her legacy is one of compassion, strength, and devotion—a life lived with grace and purpose.
Rosemary will be remembered for her gentle heart, her wisdom, and the love she shared so freely. Though she has left this world, her memory will continue to inspire and guide all who knew her.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, David Gene Dowling, Sr. and her son, David Gene Dowling, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Steven McWilliams and Greg McWilliams; her daughter, Cindee O'Neal; and her adored grandchildren, Amber Allen, Allison Leathers, Justin McWilliams, Ryan McWilliams, Amara McWilliams, and Kealani McWilliams.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Restland Funeral Home's Wildwood Chapel from 9:30 to 10:30am, where the funeral service will follow at 10:30am.
