Rosemary Louise Farrell's Obituary
Rosemary Louise Farrell nee Wagemann, age 90, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on October 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Francis "Frank" T. Farrell; dear sister of the late Donald T. Wagemann; loving mother of Tom (Kathi) Farrell, Dan (Karen) Farrell, Susan (Terry) Thomas and Janet Farrell; cherished grandmother of Christine, Kathleen, Greg, Mark, Matthew and Andrew; and many loving nieces and nephews. Rosemary grew up in Wheaton, IL and raised her family in West Chicago, IL. She dedicated her life to her family and community service. While her children were in school, she volunteered at Delnor Hospital; a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, President of the P.T.A., and was elected to the school board, serving as Secretary and President. In 1979, Rosemary and Frank moved to Richardson, Texas, where Rosemary worked as a loan officer at Richardson National Bank for many years and continued her commitment to community service at St. Joseph Church as a Eucharistic Minister, Steven Minister and other volunteer services for the church. Rosemary also maintained lifelong interests in travel, writing, art, tap dancing, and was a longtime member of the Dallas Arboretum.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd, Richardson, TX 75081, on October 12, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Dallas Arboretum at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX, 75218, online at https://www.dallasarboretum.org/support/donate/tributes-program/, or call Elizabeth Greenwood at (214) 515-6612.
