Rosetta James' Obituary
Born on January 4, 1938 in McKinney, TX, Rosetta was the second child born to the parentage of Elnorman Terrell and Bertha Mae Linson Terrell.
She attended Dallas Public Schools and received her diploma from Booker T. Washington High School in 1957.
Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the Ledbetter Baptist Church for over 50 years serving in the choir, Deaconess, Vacation Bible School, and Mission departments until her health declined.
She married her devoted and loving husband, Namon James, Jr. on October 26, 1963, and to this union one son and one daughter were born.
Rosetta worked for over 25 years with Collins Radio/Rockwell as an assembly technician. She retired in the early 1990's.
Rosetta is preceded in death by her parents, Elnorman and Bertha Terrell; husband, Namon Jr; siblings Beulah Porter, Thelma Massey, Willie Earl Terrell, and Elmer Terrell. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, son Rodney James (Shana) of Dallas, TX, and daughter Traci James Johnson of Duncanville, TX; siblings: Josephine Johnson, Ruby Green and Leonard Terrell (Rita); grandchildren, Lakendria Lacy, April James Sanders (John), Corey James (Jasmine), Carmon James Lyons (Clarence), Stephanie James, and Tiffani Johnson; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
