Ross Alan Robertson's Obituary
Ross Alan Robertson, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on June 30th, 2024 at the age of 64, in Richardson, Texas.
Born on December 10th, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas, Ross was the son of Aubrey Roy Ford Robertson and June Taylor Drew. He married his devoted wife, Donna Robertson, and they were extensions of each other for 41 years.
Together they raised two exceptional daughters: Brittany Harper and Lindsey Sage. They were always the light of his life and he marveled as they grew over the years, and became the young women they are today.
Ross had a wide range of interests and passions. He was an avid gamer, spending countless hours immersed in the World of Warcraft and enjoying rounds of golf. His love for board games extended to classics like Risk, Clue, and Yahtzee. Ross also found fulfillment in volunteering work, actively participating in ministries such as Emmaus, Chrysalis, and Kairos.
Sports played a significant role in Ross’s life. He cheered for the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and followed NASCAR and Formula 1 racing. As a tech enthusiast, he stayed up-to-date with the latest gadgets and innovations. Ross loved to travel, whether it was cruising the open seas or dancing the night away. He had a guilty pleasure for celebrity gossip and enjoyed indulging in “crap TV.” Above all, Ross cherished his family!
Ross is survived by his loving wife Donna, his daughters Brittany, Lindsey, and his granddaughter, Charlotte Harper. He is also survived by his mother June Taylor Drew, and his three siblings: Randy Robertson, Rex Robertson and Christy Taylor.
And is Preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Roy Ford Robertson and his Grandparents.
Though Ross will no longer be here with us, his memory and spirit will continue to thrive through the love he shared. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion will also continue and will be dearly missed and remembered by his family and all who knew and loved him.
