Rovana Stephenson Hamilton's Obituary
Heaven graciously accepts the soul of Rovana Stephenson Hamilton. Born April 27, 1927 in McCrory, Arkansas and passed away February 11, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas. She was preceded in death by loving husband, Basil Stephenson. She is survived by Grady Hamilton, devoted husband of 34 years; 2 sons, Hank and Roy Stephenson; 1 daughter, Joan Warner; 2 stepdaughters, Sherry Brennan and Patty Hamilton; 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and sister Betty Borth. “Ro” was a successful Division Manager for Sarah Coventry in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky and Texas. She and her partner, Grady, were also mini real estate moguls. She and Grady traveled extensively and were often hosts for a fun time in their home at the lake. She loved playing board games with “flexible” rules depending on her hand. Ro was an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City, Texas. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Restland Funeral Home in Richardson, Texas. Service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at noon at Restland Abbey Chapel.
