Roxie V. Roberts Flowers was born on September 22, 1950 in Jackson, MS to Mr. Emmett Roberts and Mrs. Willie Lee Smith Roberts.
She was preceded in death by father Emmett Roberts, sister Peggy Ann Roberts, mother Willie Lee Smith Roberts and brother James Roberts.
Roxie is survived by her daughters: Cherice Flowers of Arlington, TX and Tresleon Flowers of Nashville, TN. 4 brothers: Emmett Roberts of Memphis, TN, Billy Ray Roberts of Joplin, MO and Daniel Ray Roberts and Freddie Lee Roberts both of Jackson, MS. 1 grandchild and great grandchild Kristeon Smith and Karese Smith. Roxie also had 2 nieces: Krystle Roberts of Jackson, MS and Kelle Isabel of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by Kelle and Krystle's children, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece: Kristeon Miguel Smith of Arlington, TX, Christopher James Roan (CJ) Christopher John Roan (Tre) both of Jackson MS, and Liya Diana Dancey and Michael Dewayne Dancey both of Memphis TN.
Along with her immediate family, Roxie has many cousins and a host of others whose lives were truly touched by her life. Her unwavering strength and wit will be remembered. She will be deeply missed.
