Roy Everson Armstrong, 74, was born on July 22, 1943 to parents Mary Beatrice Roberts and Caleb Armstrong in Longview, Texas. He passed away on February 24, 2018 in Rowlett, Texas. Roy is survived by his daughter, Keshia Armstrong; Son, Terry Armstrong and Dedric Armstrong; sister, Ida Clark; brother, Oliver Armstrong; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.The family requests visiting hours be observed from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mr. Armstrong will be on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11 AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery. Roy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
