I grew up at Scofield, Pastor Ashcraft was my Pastor for many years. We love him and all of his family. He was a kind , tender shepherd of the flock entrusted to his care, an example of how to love and care for others like Jesus. We are forever blessed by his service to Jesus. Much love to his family. My wife Jane and I were blessed to attend Scofield Church when Pastor Ashcraft was there. As a result, we gained many lifetime friends and benefited greatly from his teaching and from the teaching of many others in our Sunday school who themselves were schooled in the Bible.
In my view, Pastor Ashcraft was so effective because he never strayed from the fundamental of salvation from Christ crucified, but did so with great warmth and kindness.

Neil was an incredibly loving pastor. Never harsh or judgemental. He baptised our sons and was a model of the love of Jesus Christ. His memory shall always be cherished as well as Joanna's.
