I worked with Roy at DeSoto for 25 years. He was a dedicated hard worker and friend. He could sure hit a softball a long way. We play together on DeSoto's softball team. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a friend to everyone. J. A. Samples
Awwwwwww, I just loved your dad. Such a sweet man. I always enjoyed seeing and talking to him when I was at mom & dad's. I know he just longed for ya'lls mom and missed her so much. Now he is with her again. I will miss him. God Bless you all.
When I was little, and just starting out playong baseball at 8 years of age, my dad was my coach. After gathering us all together, he asked us what position we would like to play. I said "anywhere but catcher", and guess where I ended up? I caught for 14 years and loved every minute of it. He was my hereo, and he was always the kind of man I wanted to be like most. I will love him always and miss him everyday. He was the best father a person could of had and I am blessed that he was mine!! Jeff Brooks #3 son
Roy was such a pleasure to visit with. He would bring little Ms. Candy into the office and for some reason she was soo attracted to the top of my desk. ?? He did nothing but brag about his family. He never complained once. He always put himself last. We will miss him dearly. Deepest Sympathy, Tiffany Miller & associates at your bank.
