Roy McClellon Chambers, 94, of Dallas, TX died July 17, 2019 in Frisco, TX. He was born May 28, 1925 to Roy Chambers and Selma Chambers in Kansas City, MO.Roy married JoAnn Piper on August 19, 1943 in Kansas City, KS. He was a Territory Manager for RCA. Roy was a member of Vintage Chevrolet Clubs of America Inc. and Lone Star Region. He served in the Untied States Navy from 1943-1963 as a Chief Petty Officer. Roy was also a talented musician (piano and clarinet), as well as an antique Chevy enthusiast.Roy is survived by his wife, JoAnn Chambers; son, Dennis Chambers and wife, Lenore of Lee Summitt, MO; daughters, Gayla Drollinger and husband, Ben of Fairview, TX and Nedra Wood of Carrollton, TX; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.Funeral service for Mr. Roy Chambers will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
