Roy Gene Hollingsworth was born January 4, 1929 in Ennis, Texas and passed away August 8, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. He was a good husband, father and worker and a man who had a lot of friends. Roy loved to travel, go fishing, playing the casinos and he loved country music. He could fix anything and was always teaching. His family was very important to him and he loved his grandchildren. Roy worked for the phone company and sometimes worked 2-3 jobs at the same time. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 2:30 pm, Monday, August 15, 2016 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
