Roy Allen Johnson's Obituary
JOHNSON, ROY ALLEN born January 28, 1940 in Dallas, TX and passed away December 14, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Lucious and Ruthie; his brother, Bill and his daughter, Peggy. He is survived by Doris, his wife of 20 years; sons, Roy Jr., Michael J., Michael B., William (Bill), Michael W. and David; daughters, Trina, Melani, Tina, Wendy, and Vicki; twenty-eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Roy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served with the 49th Armored Division from 1957 to 1963. He retired after 35 years from Continental EMSCO in Garland, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 9:30 AM, Monday, December 17, at Restland Abbey Chapel.
