Roy Mitchell's Obituary
Roy Mitchell entered eternal life on January 12, 2017 in Rockwall, Texas surrounded by his children and loved ones. Roy was born June 5, 1935 in Dallas, Texas, to Lumuell and Maude Mitchell. Roy meet the love of his life Lucille Mitchell. While raising their three daughters, he had a career in the trucking industry. Roy loved being a father, but he especially loved being a grandfather and better still a great-grandfather. Roy leaves behind a legacy of family that will miss him deeply, but who finds peace in the knowledge that they will see him again. His loving spirit will be carried on for generations by family and friends whose lives will be forever touched and grateful for knowing her. Roy is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille Mitchell. Roy is survived by his children: Vicki Cole and husband AJ, Cindy Jarrell, Connie Mulholland and husband Steve, and six grandchildren: Jamee Little and husband Stephen, Tracee Mosseller and husband Colby, Dionne Lowe and husband Michael, Casie Jackson and husband Israel, Kaydee Bellon and husband RJ, Mitchell Mulholland and wife Chelsea, 8 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Jacob, Amelia, Mason, Tanner, Emma, Zane, and Zoey. Graveside Services will be held Saturday January 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM Restland Memorial Park, Garden of Inspiration.
