Roy Shaw Otts' Obituary
OTTS, ROY SHAW was born on September 4, 1929 in Rome, Georgia and passed away October 16, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by brother, Benjamin Franklin Otts; twin brother, Ray Otts; brother, Marvin Otts; and sister, Edith Barber. Roy is survived by wife, Martha Otts; son, James “Randy” Otts; daughter, Sheri Swaim; three grandchildren, Jacob Swaim, Alex Swaim, and Savannah Swaim; and younger sister, Elizabeth Sparks. Roy was a devoted husband for over 51 years, worked hard to provide for his family and loved his children deeply. He was not a man of many words, but when he spoke, it was worth listening to. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 12:30 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
