Roy Ray Roberts' Obituary
Born November 18, 1926 in Dallas, TX and passed away August 17, 2011 in Richardson, TX. Roy was preceded in death by parents: Ray Bryan & Beulah Inez Roberts, beloved Aunt Liz and husband Frank Armstrong. Survived by wife of 56 years Rose J Roberts; daughter Yvonne Flowers and Son-in-law Greg Flowers; daughter Marie Roberts and life partner Annette Baumgartner; grandson Denver Ray Roberts Baumgartner; sisters-in-law Ruth Loveless and Evelyn Sadler and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving faithful neighbors. Roy graduated from Baylor University in 1951 and also attended Southwestern Theological Seminary. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1pm at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Heights Baptist Church of Richardson- The Good Shepherd Fund.
