Royce L. Bond's Obituary
BULLARD – Royce L. Bond, 91, of Richardson, TX, formerly of Bullard. Transitioned to
Heaven on October 15, 2023.
Lynn was born on June 18, 1932, in Bullard to John Lawson and Archie Ray Bond. Lynn
served his country for 28 years in the United States Marine Corps. He loved fishing, hunting,
and serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lynn is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 71yrs, son Stewart, daughter
Carol, son-in-law Tom, and brothers Louis and Joe Bond as well as 14 nieces and nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly, parents, brothers James, Glynn,
Morris, Jerry, and Archie and sisters Helen, Eloise, and Mel.
There will be a viewing on Monday, October 23 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral
Home in Dallas. Burial will be at the DFW National Cemetery.
A service celebrating Lynn’s life will be conducted by Dr. Gary Singleton on October 24 at
10:00am at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson. The chapel will be open 30 minutes.
prior to services for visitation. Lynn will receive full military honors conducted by the U.S.
Marine Corps Honor Guard.
