Royce "June" Shaw's Obituary
Royce “June” Shaw was born June 22, 1928 in Alpena, Arkansas to Maude Shane and entered into eternal rest September 11, 2022 at the age of 94. June married the love of her life, Adrian in May of 1952 and they were married for 64 years before his passing in 2016.
She enjoyed camping and golfing and attending her sons' many sporting events throughout the years. June attended the First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City. She was a very loving and Christian caring women who will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved her.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Shaw; mother, Maude Shane and brother, William Shane.
She is survived by her son, James Shaw and wife Jean Shaw of Kaysville, UT; son, Mark Shaw and wife Karen Shaw of Roanoke, TX; grandson, Kyle Shaw and wife Katie of Kaysville, UT; granddaughter, Erin Shaw and husband Alan Burgess of Alicante, Spain; granddaughter, Lori Shaw and husband Charlie Harvey of Pflugerville, TX; Jana Shaw of Roanoke, TX; grandson, Ryan Shaw and wife Katie of Argyle, TX; great grandchildren, Margo, Max, Addie, Makell, Henry, Beckham, Lexi and Vinny; sister-in-law, Gayla Shaw of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law, Jean Shaw of Houston, TX; sister in Law, Rosa Shane of Mission, TX; nephews, Craig Rayfield and wife Mary, Scott Rayfield and wife Clara, Jimmy Shaw and wife Paula; niece, Lisa Shaw and other loving family members and many more friends.
Services for Ms. Royce Shaw will be held at 10 am on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior beginning at 9:30a.
