Ruby Mae Drewry's Obituary
After faithfully serving her Lord and family for 91 years, Ruby was received in heaven by her Savior and loved ones August 1, 2008. Ruby was born November 19, 1916 to Finnis and Fannie Ivey Barron in Pickton, Texas. Mrs. Drewry is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law Cecil & Pauline Drewry; Paul & Judy Drewry; and Claude & Peggy Drewry; and daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Michael Ross; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a 101 yr old uncle and many other loving family members. She was preceded in her death by her husband of 58 years, Waise Allen Drewry; brother, Cecil Barron; sister, Mattie Lou Smith; and grandson, Dustin Drewry. Ruby was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church for 58 years and a member of the Order of Eastern Star of the Edwin J. Kiest Lodge Chapter #959. Family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M., Monday, August 4 at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Tx 75382. Services will be held, Tuesday, August 5, at 10:00 A.M. at Lakeside Baptist Church, 9150 Garland Rd., Dallas, Texas with Rev. Paul Drewry officiating.
