All of us in the Margie Morgan family will miss Ruby as she was an important part of our lives. Ruby and my mother made draperies and her presence was like having a loving big sister around. As years passed she was so faithful to check on my mother in the nursing home until her death. This world has lost a wonderful woman, but Heaven is all the richer. When I was hired at First Baptist of Hamilton Park, I was assigned to play for the children and youth choirs. It was Mrs. McClennan, Mrs. Jefferson, and Mrs. Gloria Jones who were the sponsors. Mizz Mac & Madeah have added to the memories of my life that will go with me to my grave! Mrs. McClellan will always be remember by me as the "nice cupcake and fruit lady". It was always a joy and a treat to walk up to her house, be received by her wonderful smile, to purchase her delicious cupcakes. On many occasions she would throw in fruit and let us hang out in her backyard playing "boat". I have shared those happy neighborly memories with my children.
