OWENS, RUBY MAE The journey of life for Ruby Mae Owens began July 6, 1926, in Dallas, TX. Mrs. Owens, age 85 years, passed April 13, 2012. Born from the parentage of Rudell Cumbie and Gennetta Wright in Dallas, TX. She was educated in Marln, TX as well as Dallas, TX. She professed Faith in Christ at an early age and previously attended New Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Ernest H. Owens and Elouise Turner; nieces, Audrey Jones of Denver, CO, Catina Adams of Dallas, TX; nephew, Chris Adams of Dallas, TX; numerous grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm on Wednesday, April 18th at Restland Funeral Home. Cryptside services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 19th at Restland Memorial Park, Whispering Waters Mausoleum.
